Smaller is Just Better

I took this photo of these miniature hygiene products that I bought for my expedition to Denver a few weeks ago. They were just sitting around my apartment so I figured I'd throw them on my scanner and take a shot at it. I left the lid off and turned all of the lights off in my room. I like how it turned out.

It really shows all of the branding that happens in the marketplace.

The next thing that I just had laying around a poor college student's apartment was a bunch of money. So I decided to gather it up and throw it on the scanner. I grabbed a clock and decided to make a collage of time and money. I took the images into Photoshop and did some border work with a grunge brush. I did an overlay blend with the two images and add a solid color adjustment layer to give it some more green. I added a torn edges filter to the image. Here it is:
