I went on a photo shoot for my moms birthday using a Canon 16-35mm wide angle lens. It is an amazing lens if I could just spend the $1500 for it. For the party picture I used a brush stroke filter and then flattened the image. I then used a mask and a thick brush to give it the brushed on effect. I added a border by adding canvas to all sides and then a caption. For the portrait I tried deleting the image and then using the history brush with a grunge brush to paint it back on. I added a solid color adjustment layer for the colored background and added a caption. For the ballon I followed the sprayed on edges tutorial and added a caption.

Great job with your edge effects man! Your first two look similar but I like the second one the most for some reason. It's got some great composition and complementing colors. Very professional. Great job.
ReplyDeleteI really like the birthday one! I like how you did the brush on effect and also added a border. You're colors match nicely and the colors are vivid and bright as well. Nice job on all your pictures, it really does look like a party!
ReplyDeleteThe edge effect on the picture with the straws looks great! The brush that you used complements the picture nicely. It almost looks straw like. On the picture of Lisa I like how you used a purple border, then it looks painted and then you matched the text to the purple. Good job!
ReplyDeleteThe first one is my favorite. The colors are so much fun! The brush strokes turned out really natural and it looks really professional!
