I had a lot of fun with these photos. For the first one I set up the tripod and dialed the shutter speed to 15 seconds on shutter speed priority. I had my brother snap a portable flash every time I moved to a new spot. For the blue trumpet photo I used a blue flashlight on my brother's flashlight to light up the trumpet. I used a tripod in a completely black room with shutter speed priority to 20 seconds. I slowly lit up the trumpet with the light and then moved the light around for the ambient light. My favorite was the orange flower picture. I love the way the light looks like ribbons. For this photo I set a fake flower in a vase and used an orange light to light it up. I then moved the light around to look like the ribbons. I set the camera to shutter speed priority at 15 seconds.

Good creativity on your pictures. Even after reading the description I think I understand better of what is going on. I think you got some cool effects. I like your ghost shot and how you are kind of sitting on yourself. Great job.
ReplyDeleteThese are some nice pictures! I really like your picture of the flower with the light behind it. I like how the flower is stationary and there is a blur of light in the background. I didn't even think about doing something like that.
ReplyDeleteI love how you attempted to do the picture that Sister Esplin showed us in class. It turned out awesome! Good job on the shot with the trumpet. It sounds like it was a hard shot to get but it turned out amazing!
ReplyDeleteThe flower shot turned out so cool! I really like that it almost looks like its floating. The light for the ribbon gives such a neat effect. Also, the self portraits look awesome! It's neat how you're transparent.
