I started experimenting with adjustment layers on this photo of my friend Wyatt. I added an adjustment layer with multiply blending mode. I added a mask and used a paintbrush for the white and black paint for the border stuff. I masked out some of the edits on the mask that comes with the adjustment layer. For my sister Sheena's photo I converted layer to smart filter, added a Fresco filter, and used a paintbrush with black paint on the free mask to mask out some of the effect. I liked the Fresco look so I left most of it there.

I REALLY like the one of Wyatt! I think that the border and edits really add to the feel of the picture with the guitar and everything. I like the one of Sheena too. Interesting choice of where to take off the layers - right on the line of her hair and the fur on her hood. Good work though!
ReplyDeleteI like your flexible edits. They both have the theme of rockstars or something like that. So, great job capturing that impression in the angles but the emotion with your edits and everything.
ReplyDeleteI like the grunge look of the first photo with the kid and the guitar. It's a really creative combination of blacks and whites to create a single border.
ReplyDeleteI really like the effects you got with your flexible edits! The first picture looks really nice with the border and the edits. The second picture's edit is subtle, but makes the picture pop. Good job!
