Photo shoot in the Windy City (Chicago has nothing on Rexburg) 4May2010.
I took out my newly acquired Canon EOS Rebel T1i to try it out. I'm loving the camera already. It is very user friendly and highly compatible with all the different types of shots that I've always wanted to try. I'm new to photography and am anxious to gain some skills. Right now I am using the Canon 50mm f1.8 lens. I love what it does with shallow depth of field. It really shows some good bokeh. I mostly have been experiencing with a low f stop on aperture priority but hope to venture out of my comfort zone soon. Here are some of the different shots that I have tried so far. Comments welcome and highly encouraged. Thanks for looking!

These are great shots. Good job with the shallow depths!
ReplyDeleteI love orange! So good color choice. Good job on the tape and the flower photos, they are my favorite. The shallow depth looks really good.
ReplyDeleteOrange is one of my favorite colors...and I use it all the time! I think that you were the only one to use orange as their color choice to focus on, and you definitely did a good job. I love the photo of the flower and the one of the orange tags on the wood posts. The colors are really vibrant and saturated. Nice job.
ReplyDeleteI love your photos. I would have never thought to pick the color orange because it, in contrast to amber, is not one of my favorite colors haha. But I really enjoyed the way that you photographed them. I also like how the flip flops are surrounded by orange so you know that it is still the main color.
ReplyDeleteGreat tones. A good warm rusty orange is one of my favorite colors. I especially like the colors in the flower photo.
